Hi, I’m Shae Lindsay.
I’m currently studying Interior Design at Mount Royal University (since September 2024), but my interests in design go beyond interiors. I’ve always been fascinated by how design shapes our experiences, whether it’s the atmosphere of a room, the convenience of an everyday object, or the joy of a playful creation.
For me, design is about creating experiences people can feel. I reflect this throughout my school assignments, where I always take the extra step to consider every corner of a space and how it all comes together to create something unique. I also follow my passion for designing experiences through the small things that make up people’s spaces, inspiring my everyday solutions that combine practicality with design. Everyday solutions contribute in small ways to people’s lives and have a huge impact. Design is also about fun and play, which I explore through building prop replicas and other designs that spark my curiosity about form and function.
